Lines In The Sky writes, arranges, records, and performs modern progressive rock music.
As an independent band, we’ve toured all over the eastern and northeastern U.S., playing venues such as Middle East, Buffalo Iron Works, World Cafe Live, MilkBoy Arthouse, The Pour House, Amityville Music Hall, multiple venues in Philadelphia, Charlotte, Akron, Greenville, Cincinnati, Richmond, and festivals such as Seven Sense Festival, MusikFest, and the highly-curated international progressive rock festival Rites of Spring Fest, aka RoSFest. And our biggest show yet, the massive Summerfest 2022, in Milwaukee, on the ULine Warehouse stage as direct support for Grammy-nominated rock band Skillet.
We nod with respect to original prog rock of the 70s. We listen intently to contemporary progressive artists of the ‘00s. We soak up the art and skill of songwriting and performance geniuses of all generations. And we draw inspiration from music of all genres, from classical to rap.
